OMG

*screams and dances around*

ARGH!! If you haven't already heard the song, my goodness, please do yourself a favour by stepping out from the caves and LISTEN TO THE SONG! :D (p.s. to those who don't know, it's by Usher ft Will.i.am)

I have no idea how they do it!! How on earth do they make such a song sound so darn addictive?? Seriously, the lyrics has no deep meaning to it (so no need to crack your head understanding it) and it is such a typical (in a very stereotypical way) "playboy" song that is meant for the clubbing scenes, you would think that songs like that has become so cheesy and ought to be banned!

But then talented people like Timbaland and Will.i.am. come by and mix some cool beats to the song and viola! COOL SONG!

Sigh...the media is really "dumping down" and insulting our intelligence, aren't they?

I have a strange feeling that the ....expression, OMG would be considered a word in the dictionary anytime soon (if it isn't already in it). And to even use "OMG" as the title of the song is ... just...OMG! xD Who would have thought to use that as the title of the song and part of the lyrics?!

Incredible. I can't imagine how it must be like for the older generation to live through and witness such a dramatic change in the music industry! What would happen to Lite n Easy 20 years down the road?? Although, I must say, it would be left to people like Chu Ian and occasionally Tze Yuen and perhaps even Brian, to keep the radio channel alive. LOL! And I say that because you guys are the few people I know who like classics/oldies/reallllly emmooooo/romantic songs. :D And I mean no offence whatsoever. (I can imagine TY going: wwhhhhaaaaatttt??? cannooott mmeeeehhhhh? or... Eh! Got prob with liking songs like that is it?!) (come to think of it, All three of you would have the same type of response!! AHHAHAHA!)

When the time arrives where our generation is split into groups of people who supports the classics/oldies; those who obviously don't; and the ones that sits on the fence, you will find me shouting the loudest in the 3rd group. :D

Come to think of it, our generation itself have gone through a transition in the music industry as well with the whole 90's to the "now" music of the 21st century! Remember the Backstreet Boys era?! The N*Sync, 98 degrees, Boyzone, Destiny's Child, Spice Girls and Britney Spears (Hit me baby one more time?!)?!!!!!

THOSE were the days. xD

Ah well, enough reminiscing (and unintentionally causing offence)! :D

Just thought of sharing my current fav song for the month. :)
