My Cousin's Wedding (Part 2)

I just realised that there are wayyy too many videos to share!! AND I HAVEN'T A CLUE HOW TO SHARE THEM!!! Technical issue still not resolved. :( Anyhow, here are some of the few pictures that were taken from the morning of the wedding:

A picture with the bride in her beautiful wedding gown :D

This was breakfast AND lunch...-.-

The wedding car! :D
He (the groom) sure did arrive in style! xD
How?

They honked their way in. I did not get to witness the groom's side coming in from my elder cousin sis's wedding but golly! This is the first time that i experienced seeing hearing the groom's arrival!

There i was, enjoying my breakfast when i felt a chill in my spine upon hearing the honking of cars from a distance. Don't ask me why i felt that but it was creepy...somehow. *shudder*

Anyway, at the beginning, i had no clue as to who those buggers were until my elder cousin sis mumbled:" They're here." As spooky as that statement was, "they" had better meant the groom and his best men!

Sure enough, they kept honking (in unison) until they arrived at the door step and my elder cousin sis took charge and got the "sistahood" to shut the main door. Weird to those who do not understand the custom but i found it rather funny. Haha!

Briefly, the sistas are suppose to "keep" the bride from the groom until the groom can come up with a good amount of dowry or "door gift" to get into the house. BUT that is not it! They have to first go through a series of "obstacles" before finally opening the door to the room where the bride is and claim her. :D The obstacles are always fun to watch especially if you have sistas with a whacky sense of humour, wit and creativity!

My cousin bro's gf told me that her neighbour had her groom and his men walk around with their underwear outside of their pants asking for signatures of goodwill from the people around the neighbourhood!! THE HORROR! hahahhaha!

Everyone waiting for the right time to begin the groom's quest to get into the house to "steal" his bride!

This was my reaction after seeing the best men.
Evidently, i was not impressed. HAHAHAHA!

Yet again, my sis had recorded all the obstacles and what not so sadly, i can't share them here. :(

The Bride and Groom!!! :D

The newlyweds with the "sistahood"

And the remaining morning was the whole "cham char" time whilst for me it was a shake of a hand to wish them well since i am younger than she is. :D

After she left for her husband's place, we adjourned back home to rest and get ready for dinner. Welll, not EVERYONE rested. Hahaha! Instead of heading home, i followed my aunt and cousins to my uncle's place and watched Night At the Museum 2!

OMG! IT IS HILARIOUS!! HHahahahahahah! I LOVED IT! The monkey with the space suit was just..omgcute!!!!!! Hahaha! Jedediah and Octavius is just....LOL-material!!! Especially when Octavius ran across the garden to seek help to free Jedediah. HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Here are a few quotes i snatched from IMDb! :D
