Happy Chinese New Year!!!

To all who are celebrating this auspicious new year, may each and everyone of you have a truly blessed year filled with good health, happiness and prosperity!! ;)

Well, in a matter of just 3 days or so, i just happen to realise that i am indeed addicted to the computer. It's absolutely insane! To think i managed to survive without one for the earlier part of my life. Incredible the way the science and technology works its way into our lives in such a way that we can barely live without IT in our life. Take a phone/handphone for example, can anyone live without one? Is it even possible to contact another person during an emergency without the use of a phone? Imagine a fire that happened to break out during the night and no one nearby had the proper tools to help and the only means was to send post letters? Geez...and what with the snail service our country's mailing system works on, by the time the nearest fire department gets through the mail, which would technically be in more than a month, the house and its neighbourhood would have been burned down into ashes by then!

So, you can't really blame me for getting so dependent on it eh? XD

On my chinese new year trip back to my hometown, in a trip that would usually take us 2 hours to get there, we took 2 times the usual time. It was INSANE! ALL it took to cause the whole congestion were the occasional rest stops, cops, minor accidents that were made into some big hooha drama accident and 3 freaking lookalike DUMP TRUCKS! It was the silliest thing ever! I could NOT believe that 3 snail-crawling paced trucks can cause such a heavy congestion to occur at 5ish o'clock!! ON a HIGHWAY!!! They were bloody hell crawling like some old piece of old junk at what? 20km/h???!! ISSHHH!! They hogged the entire slow lane and yet, for some reason only God knows, the fast lane was affected and that was what caused such a terrible bumper to bumper crawl for the last hundred odd kilometres!!! *grumble grumble* Totally unreasonable. Ish ish...

If anyone comments on my recent increase in weight and size of ass, please...you and i can both blame it on the trip and the fact that well, chinese new year is always about food, yes? :) Festive seasons are the best times to celebrate with your loved ones as well as to expand the waist size a couple of inches before working it all out once the festive's over. It's all part of the reason why we celebrate so many seasons. It's the best way to give ourselves a reason to indulge in all the sinful food whilst we put the blame on the season and the excuse that it's probably time to get a new scale for the bathroom because the measurements just "don't seem right". Ain't it not? :D Or probably it's just me...XD

Funny though, if i understand my theory right, wouldn't that make my country people obese from all the food intake every season? As it is, my country has probably the most festive holidays given in the world! Yet, based on recent studies on the weight issues around the world, do correct me if i may be wrong with my information, US hit the top rank didn't they? Hmm, perhaps the food portion plays a huge role. :P We people here eat pretty daintly, guess that helps to curb the weight issues. *shrugs* Oh well...

It's getting late now...before i leave though, food for thought: The later you sleep, the more weight you gain. Hmmm...it'll keep you up all night figuring that out. HAHAHA! NIte~
