Sg Lembing Trip, Day 1

Every so often, Leo Club would organise a trip outside KL as a means of bringing every member together to fellowship and know one another better.

This time, the sub-group of Leo Club : Tropicana, decided that we would head up north to Sungai Lembing, Pahang for an outdoor experience with mother nature! :)

Boy oh boy...there i thought that i would be brave and adventurous enough to last through trip without whining and complaining about sore limps and aching body. Instead, i continued having sore limps and aching body even after 2 days of the trip!

Just goes to show how fit i am. *bows head in shame*

Anyway, armed with my trusty camera, i joined in the "photography gang" - not that i was anywhere NEAR how well they take photos, but oh well, if you want to be good in photography, why not join the elites and learn something? :) And learned i did!

My pictures are still not as awesomely wow-ing factor as theirs but i would settle for "good enough" before i inherit my bro's DSLR. :D THEN we'll see if it is just the camera or me! xDD

Monkeyyyy! I was quite scared of them cuz one sorta chased after me when i tried to take a close up. Prolly thought my camera was food. xD

Here is where i learnt that the grid display kinda helps to prevent from taking lopsided pics like these..:P

This is the Teluk Chempedak Beach! :D Unfortunately it is not the cleanest beach around...it was actually much worst many years ago but thank goodness they cleaned up so that now it's better! :D

We stopped by this er..hut..and hopped down to the rocks. Scary experience, if you ask me. Prolly the start of display of my fear of heights and of falling..

If only they had bigger waves...:)

This is the other side of the Teluk Chempedak Beach! Not quite sure what this beach is called but i must say, of all the years that i came, this has got to be the first time that i am reaching this side!

Poor kite got stuck up the tree! Wind here is strong so these are actually a common sight. xD

Restaurant Mei Hiong : where we had our dinner! :) We're suppose to have shark meat but since it's against Leo's objective, we had chicken meat instead! xD

Sting Ray

erm....i think this was the chicken. With sweet and sour sauce. :D

The guys (Viran and Brian) were showing off how they could change their shutter speed/light exposure (i think) and could somehow do amazingly awesome pictures with the light that i loved! This was the best my camera could do...:(

This is the "chalet" where most of us stayed...:)

This "B block chalet" was where the others stayed..xD And where the guy is sitting is where the BBQ area is! :D I know this pic is blurred but if notice the background closely, i caught the lighting from afar! :D

This is the bathroom in the room! :D They have heater and good supply of tissue rolls! :D

Oh! They provide towels too! :D And and and, our room is pinkish red! :D Others were like green and whatnot. :D :D

See how canggih the fan is! :D Unfortunately they took off the lightbulbs so the lights aren't working. xD

Well, this is pretty much what happened during the first day. :D At night, we played Taboo! :D It was incredibly fun especially when TY and i were laughing at every single word we saw! xD We make a great team! ;)

We finally decided to sleep at around 2 (?) and was one of the first to wake up the next morning at 4. -.-

But i'll tell more about it in my Day 2 trip post! :D
