Believe it or not!! ANOTHER NEW YEAR!! :D
Whew! Time does fly, doesn't it? I can still feel the anticipation as i stepped onto the grounds of university life for my second year and feeling the apprehension of how uni life would be like now that my dearest friends were in Australia.
But it didn't turn out too bad! xD It's true when they say that friends come and go. And i realise that true friends do stay. :) I have learned alot throughout the year 2009 and i am still trying to improve myself and be a better person.
It is easy to say that you want to be a better person but my definition of a better person includes being a lot less judgmental about others, being a lot less skeptical about everything, keeping an open mind to endless possibilities, opening my heart to others and to stay true to myself in order to be able to be true to others.
We make countless mistakes along the way of our life and from those mistakes, once you are able to identify, rectify and learn from it, it allows you to get a grip of who you are and be the very best of yourself.
In the past year, i may not have been the bestest friend or the wonderful person i know i should have been, so, taking this opportunity, i apologise for the wrongs that i have made and the hurt that i may have caused. I hope that we can all look forward into this new year with an open heart and mind and start afresh! :)
So, here i toast, to a bright cheerful and awesome new year to you, you and YOU!! :)
