Anyway, i know i am suppose to update on the Kamunting trip that i had last weekend. But i do not have the pictures! *sob sob* But once i get them, i will definitely have it posted up. :)
Just a quick update on my holidays so far, i am still not fully enjoying it...somehow. LOL! It just doesn't seem very different from regular days. I still have house chores to do, i still have to chaffeur my sis ard and i still have this panicky feeling like tomorrow is exams.
I think it's like one of those post-traumatic stress disorder. Whilst others are from serious cases like fire, watching people die, accidents or what have you, mine is from exams. Geez...like how dramatic can i get, right? xD
OOO! LOOK LOOK! I managed to find symptoms related to post-traumatic stress disorder on Google!
The three groups of symptoms that are required to assign the diagnosis of PTSD are
- recurrent re-experiencing of the trauma (for example, troublesome memories, flashbacks that are usually caused by reminders of the traumatic events, recurring nightmares about the trauma and/or dissociative reliving of the trauma), [I DID I DID!!! I had this dream/nightmare that exams were tomorrow..-.- But it's not recurring though and neither were there any flashbacks]
- avoidance to the point of having a phobia of places, people, and experiences that remind the sufferer of the trauma and a general numbing of emotional responsiveness, [ OMG...i have that feeling whenever i pass by uni entrance in the morning when i send my sis!! yiks! But fair enough, i do not have a phobia of uni...and i don't quite completely avoid it either...so...nah.]
- chronic physical signs of hyperarousal, including sleep problems, trouble concentrating, irritability, anger, poor concentration, blackouts or difficulty remembering things, increased tendency and reaction to being startled, and hypervigilance to threat [Oh my oh my...i do have difficulty remembering things! And i am rather irritable lately! But then again....it may be the menstruations...]
I do believe that i have watched far too many movies at one go. LOL! I have completed:
- The Proposal [ OMG...hilarious and simply sweet..x)]
- Up [ UBER Hilarious!! ANd SOOOOO CUTE!! Hahhhahaha! Especially that cute fatty scoutboy...LOL!! And there were some touching moments too...:) ]
- The Ugly Truth [ FUNNYYY and Gerald Butler is one hot charming man..:D Katherine Heigl is one hot sexy woman too! They make a great couple! Lovely chemistry this two! xD]
- Australia [ Hugh Jackman does a very HOT pose when he is bathing in one scene...those who are in love with his oh-so-hot-and-sexy physique SHOULD WATCH! But this i only watch mid way when they had a happy midway end. LOL! I knew there is more drama ahead but i couldn't let myself go through the emotional turmoil i get when i am "involved" with a drama movie...yeah..i'm weird that way]
- Twilight [ Any girl with a fantasy of having some supernatural boy/man coming to rescue you in a vampire-ish way should watch this show. Their acting skills are arguable but i do loooove teenage romance of these sort! :D]
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall [Anyone who wants to see the full length of a man's private part should watch the uncensored version of this show. Not very funny because the guy is very dorky in a not-so-cute way.]
- Penguins of Madagascar [ Need i say more? CUUUUUTE! And ah well...King Julien should have his own show...hhahahahha!!!!]
- Brokeback Mountain [ Yeah...very yesteryear. Again, i only watched till they both had sex and was so stunned i stopped watching altogether]
- Deception [ Very interesting...and scary too. Makes you think twice about those charming smooth talking friends you have around you...hahaha!]
- 2012 [ Great graphics! Although it is very obvious because some scenes were pretty fake looking. Otherwise, i felt that they were really like what we learn in Comm...about how movies really do try to portray that wholesome American family and how America is this wonderful country with the awesome president. I will not provide spoilers so go watch the movie and you will roughly get what i mean..if not, send me a comment and i'll explain. :D]
As for reading, i have read one book so far. (So much for my love of reading...xD) Sandra Brown: The Crush. Yeah...sounds like some romance stuff eh? Think again. Whilst the central of the story revolves around the notion of romance - hence, the "Crush", it's bordering more towards obessive love. Or...rather, delusional obsessive love. It's a thriller romance genre, if there is such a category, with the psychopath who kills "for fun" and is after the beautiful doctor who is then rescued by the hard-headed tough hunk ex-cop who in turn, obviously kills the psychopath and makes love to the doctor, end of story.
Very typical eh? But the details are interesting. As i am reading it, i can totally imagine the book being made into a two-hour movie. xD Story view is from all 3 characters so, you get to look into the psychopath's delusional mind - which is very sick and twisted. Makes you very thankful...and hopeful at the same time, that you are not a target of such a being.
That aside, i am going to attempt to complete Confessions of a Shopaholic - the book today...or maybe tomorrow...
Regardless, just want to wish everyone: HAPPY HOLS! :D
