Not that my cousins needed it that much. :D
My apologies for the week long hiatus as i had visitors that kept me from sitting with my bum firmly placed on the seat for no more than 5 seconds. So yes, as Laura pointed out to me, i was baby sitting. xD
Odd that i never gave it a thought that i was actually baby sitting. To me, it was like an extra week of holidays as i got the chance of getting out of the house to do most things i would only have ever thought of doing in the comforts of my childish side of mind. :D (Which is most of the time...xDD!)
It helps that most of the outings were paid for too. Haha! So that made it so much more fun!! There was not much of tears when i found out the pricing of the tickets to Ice Age - 3D was RM 48 in total (for 3). There were also less heart ache when i spent RM 50 at the arcade to Mario racing game, Daytona and some swatting insects game and etc. But still, the tears and pain were still there.
It got me thinking too...that SP dude - Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah (Yeah...he has a VERY LOOOOOOOOOOONG title to his name) and everyone else in these entertainment shopping industry are earning wayyyyy more than they should!! Ok ok...so who am i to claim how much they should earn right? But STILL! IT'S INSANELY PRICEY!
Take the Lagoon for example. RM 60 for adults!! Thank goodness they provided 20% discount for MyKad holders! Mind you, RM60 is only for 2 parks. I dare not even peep at the price for the "entire Lagoon experience" park tickets. And i think it was too much that the locker was priced at RM 5 for ONE! LOCKER ONLY! Omg. And even the floats are for rent! Which means you have to pay extra on top of the ticket pricing you paid at the entrance. DAMN GERAM!
According to the little ones (that my bro and i baby sitted for the day), the rides were not quite exciting, if not at all. To them, the rides that got my heart still hanging at the top as we zoomed all the way down was .."it was ok". O.o But thankfully, they still had fun despite the lack of full adrenaline rush. :D I mean, compared to what they have back in US like the Six Flags and Disneyland, the Lagoon here is...well...probably equivalent to the kids' rollar coasters and Disney rides. xD I totally understand their feelings. xP
Now that they are on their way back to my dad's hometown, i am missing them very much. It feels empty where the kids' laughter once filled the room and it had been fun throughout the "American week" as my mom called it. xD Where we got the chance of speaking in some weird twisted combination of Malaysian, British and American accents. Hahahahaha! It was all fun. :D
Especially with my grandmother around, i got the chance of watching all the Hong Kong and Taiwanese dramas again!! Ahhhh...such wonderful childhood memories!!! *dreamy eyed*
Sadly, my cousins brought me meteoring down to earth when they asked me this yesterday (when we were lining up for a ride at Lagoon):" What time do you need to wake up tomorrow??"
I blinked for a minute, trying to digest what they meant by that question when suddenly it hit me:
It's the start of another week of uni.
*wails* I WANT MY HOLIDAYS BACCCKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
