The news on Hui Yi's miracle chance of life is certainly something that has everyone talking about it over a cup of tea and in between chewing on roti canai; it's the hot topic on everyone's lips.
Hui Yi is certainly a lucky girl to be given so many chances of life. Not many are given the same amount of chances for a lease of life in such a short span of time as Hui Yi has. But as news columnist from The Star on Sunday news-On the beat, Mr Wong Chun Wai has mentioned, the people in our country has certainly gone a long way reaching out to one another regardless of the race, religion and culture of another. It makes all of us proud when we hear of Malaysians helping Malaysians. It gives me the sense of pride when i am questioned, sometimes in disbelief, on how 3 and more people of different races, religion and culture manage to live in harmony in a country. We manage i always believe, by having majority of the our society contributing their little bit back to the society by helping one another. If everyone can do their small part, it would definitely bring our country's Vision 2020's objective of achieving national unity a lot more closer and achievable.
Just my two cents worth of opinion on our nations goals and how we are as Malaysians. But i must say i hope for Hui Yi's fast recovery and may she be able to live a fulfilling life and be grateful for the chances of life she was awarded to by God and live it well. My heart goes out to you, Hui Yi. Take care and God bless you! :)
