It has been awfully hazy outside for the past few days and i am feeling so cooped up at home doing nothing much but lazying around.
It's so difficult to walk outside and not get all choked up by the haze that have seemed to have gotten heavier and now is pretty much all around us. The rain yesterday did nothing to get rid of the haze and unlike how it was on Saturday, it's very hot and stuffy these days.
And who have we to thank for for this bad weather but our neighbouring country - Indonesia. I have previously no grudge against our neighbouring country until they decided to choke us to death with the horrid haze and bad weather. Seriously, they really have to DO SOMETHING to prevent this from ever happening again! It has happened before and now it is back again. Surely they ought to know the saying: Once bitten twice shy, and quickly organize some goverment body to control the burning at their country to prevent killing themselves and others around them!
It is a holiday today and time is passing us by really quickly. It seemed to me like it was just yesterday when i first stepped into high school and knew nobody and could hardly digest the fact that everyone else in the school were girls. From a co-et primary school where there were boys and girls alike playing basketball, chasing each other around, studying and sitting together, boys in pants and girls in pinafore and yet now everyone in my school is in pinafore and baju kurung; it was a totally different change for me then. But look at me now, i have changed. I have met new friends who eventually became my close friends, and i have done so many things i never thought i could do. I broke out from my comfort zone and became more outspoken and a little more daring than i ever thought i could ever be.
Would my life be different if i went to a co-et school? Yeah. Definately. But i guess i would never know how it is like to be in a co-et high school until college next year. Reality hurts, but we gotta face it anyhow, anyway.
